Our goals are to recruit, retain and organize RI Tradeswomen and we need help doing so! There are many ways to get involved, please reach out to us with any interest in volunteering, joining our board, coming to our events or supporting our work!

The future of the trades is female! The Women’s Council is working to recruit the next generation of tradeswomen.
Retain
We are helping women get what they need to stay and thrive in the trades with leadership & social events, problem-solving & mutual support.
Organize
We are organizing to advocate for issues that impact tradeswomen and our communities.
Take a few hours with us to acknowledge and celebrate the work that we all have accomplished as women in the trades. We will take a moment to look at the past and the female trailblazers before us as well look towards the future with what we can accomplish. We will be also celebrating the launch of our childcare and gender equity surveys. These surveys will propel us forward with what we aim to accomplish over the next phase of the Women’s Council.
Since this is going to be as much of a party as a chance for us to inform you on what’s going on with the Women’s Council, we are hosting this event at The Brass Monkey. Food, drinks and music will be provided. Come meet women in the trades, have a drink, and celebrate with us. The event will be early on in the evening, so come right after work and enjoy the rest of your Friday as you wish!
